From its subsequent sale in August 2020 we have been entrusted by the new owner to carry out a full nut and bolt restoration on this lovely Series 1 3.8.

A matching numbers example, finished in its original specification of Carmen Red with Grey interior. As with all of our restorations, the process of resurrecting this car has been about preservation of original parts and keeping the vehicle as original as possible.

The Restoration Process

As you can see from the images below, the car is nearing its completion.

Like many of our restorations this car was stripped back to a complete bare metal shell. Mechanical and items were then refurbished whilst our body and paint shop attended to their specific areas. The engine and running gear have also had a total rebuild in house.

It won’t be long until this lovely car is finished and ready for its shakedown. More detailed images will follow when its restoration has concluded.
