Classic Motor Cars Ltd, the famous restoration company in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, is to open its doors on Saturday October 5th for it’s first ever auction and will be partnering with Loveridge Agents and Auctioneers.
Nigel Woodward Managing Director of CMC said: “Following on from our successful Jaguar Mk 2 Birthday party in June and as part of our commitment to provide interesting activities for the classic car market, we have decided to stage ‘The Great Garage Sale.’”
He added: “ This will be the first auction that we have ever held and it will be run by Guy Loveridge and his team. The auction will feature significant private collections of automobilia. Two private motoring libraries will feature as well as other delightful collectable items.”
Guy Loveridge said: “ This is a fantastic opportunity and will bring Loveridge’s back to the market for the first time in a decade. The motoring libraries will feature over 500 books including signed and limited editions and the automobilia section will include rare diecast models, motoring toys and ephemera as well as unframed posters and significant original artworks".
Guy added: “ There will be no sellers commission and a buyers premium of only 15%. Listings will be on line three weeks before the auction and catalogues will be available on the day. The whole team are VERY excited by this opportunity"
