CMC returned to the London Classic Car Show for the third consecutive year with a stunning display of classic cars as well as two iconic Jaguar racers that wowed the crowds as part of the daily Grand Avenue parades.
More than 37,000 people attended the Capital’s premier feast of automotive culture and nostalgia. On featured display at CMC’s stand was the first production inside bonnet lock right hand drive E-Type roadster.
The car, a bit worn-down, has been off the road for 20 years, forgotten in a barn in Ireland until CMC found it and purchased it, and now requires a full restoration. Next to it in contrast was a pristine E-Type, part of a selection of our current stock of cars for sale that included an XK140, an XK120 and an XJS.
But CMC’s cars were not only on static display, the iconic Lindner-Nocker Lightweight E-Type and the last C-Type to run in Ecurie Ecosse colours joined the over 60 classics driven on the Grand Avenue, a live motoring highway that ran through the centre of the exhibition under the theme of ‘The Perfect 10’.
The cars were fired up for eye-catching displays on The Grand Avenue enthralled visitors to see – and hear – these rare and iconic classics in action.
