London Classic Car Show 2019

CMC were heavily involved with the London Classic Car Show which took place on February 15th, 16th and 17th with a special press and VIP opening on Thursday 14th.

CMC partnered with Footman James Insurance and provided two cars for their stand. A barn find Jaguar E-Type which is to be sympathetically restored by CMC and is owned by Nathan Bluer,  and E Type chassis 860084 the first ever RHD fixed head coupe Black E-Type to be manufactured by Jaguar cars in 1961.

We provided a MK2, owned by Andy Goss and has been worked on by CMC, for the Classic Cars magazine stand and which was the highlight of the Quentin Wilson Smart Buys feature, which the publication hosted.

Harry Ruffell-Hazell, a CMC apprentice, drove a Lancia Aurelia B20, which he has been restoring and made its running debut at the show. Harry has completed an engineering apprenticeship at Telford College of Arts and Technology and is now completing a Marches Academy Heritage apprenticeship with CMC 

Nigel Woodward, the Managing Director of CMC spoke about restoring and maintaining classic cars at the first ever Classic Cars Investment Forum, which was hosted by motoring TV Journalist Quentin Wilson.
