The Veloce charity track day, the brainchild of CMC Chairman Peter Neumark,which this year raised over £140,000 for charity has won Breakthrough Event of the year at the prestigious Octane Historic Motoring Awards held at the Rosewood Hotel in London.
In three years Veloce has established itself the finest motoring event of its kind, bringing together legendary drivers with the finest cars, and giving sponsors and paying guests an unforgettable day at Goodwood. This year the event which is organised by V management saw Derek Bell, Damon Hill, Darren Turner, MarinoFranchitti, Richard Attwood and Ross Brawn helping to raise money.
Peter Neumark said: “I am delighted that we have won the award it is a great honour but its all about raising money for charity and next year we hope to do even better.”
He added: “ We couldn't achieve the tremendous result with out the help of our sponsors, HFMC Wealth, Lockton Private Clients, AXA XL, A. Lange & Söhne, Boodles and JBR Capital.
