Duckhams Classic Q 10W-40, true to its history as “the engines choice” is a mineral oil multigrade engine oil, carefully selected to be suitable for use in Modern Classic vehicles requiring an SAE 10W-40 engine oil.

Suitable for year-round use in Modern Classic vehicles, manufactured in the 1980s or 1990s. Duckhams Classic Q 10W-40 is suitable for use in petrol or diesel engines, including turbo charged engines. Always refer to your handbook to ensure you are selecting the correct lubricant.

  • Carefully selected to be suitable for use in petrol of diesel cars and light commercial vehicle, including turbocharged engines, produced in the 1980s and 1990s.
  • Balanced ZDDP level protects critical components, such as cam shafts, valve gears and bearings from wear.
  • Shear stable multi-grade engine oil designed to maintain oil pressure and reduce oil consumption within classic engines, compared to modern, low viscosity oils, whilst still be suitable for year-round use.
  • Updated additive technology gives improved wear protection, even in classic vehicles whilst maintaining engine cleanliness and minimising rust and corrosion.
  • SAE 10W-40 oil gives fuel economy improvements when compared to SAE 20W-50 Engine oils.
  • Modern hydrotreated base oils reduce oxidation and minimises formation of sludges and varnishes, maintaining engine performance for longer.

We also use Fedex, TNT, MyHermes and DPD depending on the nature and size of the parts ordered.

When you add products to your Shopping Basket, the appropriate delivery charge will be added once you have either logged into your account if you are an existing customer, or you enter your postcode and county into the shipping calculator on the cart page. You will always be able to see this charge before submitting your order. All charges are made visible before you proceed to the checkout page.

All delivery timescales are subject to product and delivery slot availability, and will also depend on the time at which the order is placed. Small parcels may be delivered via Royal Mail.

The contents of your order and your delivery postcode area will determine which delivery services you will be offered. We do not deliver to Post Office (P.O.) boxes or shipping agent addresses.

Delivery should be between the hours of 7am and 7pm.

Classic Motor Cars will select the most appropriate carrier for your goods. This means your delivery may arrive in more than one parcel to ensure your order is transported in the fastest and most efficient manner.

Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and Classic Motor Cars shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer.

If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 7 days from date of invoice for a refund (excluding delivery charges)  The item must be returned in its original condition and packaging. You will be wholly responsible for the cost of delivery and safe return of the goods.

We will refund the price of the item to the purchaser or exchange it as soon as it is received and assessed by our warehouse. This will usually reach that account within 7 working days. Timings will, however, depend on the speed with which your credit/debit card company process the credit.

A refund of the delivery charge will be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods.
