Classic Motor Cars, one of the worlds most respected classic car specialists is recruiting.

We are seeking a well-motivated experienced workshop supervisor to oversee the daily operation of our workshops. The role will involve the supervision of over 20 highly skilled technicians and craftspeople across a multidiscipline workforce, ensuring that their valuable time is well managed, organised and efficient. You will be responsible for the day to day productivity of the workshops and ensuring that sufficient labour resource is available to achieve our daily labour sales target by careful staff attendance management and good quality control thus maximising available hours. Equally important will be your ability to drive productivity and ensure that we achieve completion of repairs on time and on budget.

You will work hand-in-hand with our Production Planning Manager who will provide the medium to long term plan and our customer facing staff and sales staff ensuring that your teams’ work reaches the highest standards and meets the requirement of both our retail and internal customers.

You will possess the ability to coordinate multiple departments to produce a seamless work flow from one stage of repair or production to the next. Quality control will be paramount and you will have the ability to advise and assist your individual team members on a technical level.

Successful candidates will hold a recognised relevant qualification, have a solid background either within the industry or a related sector such as race preparation and be able to demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines and fixed time scales. The ability to plan effectively to achieve the agreed work schedule is essential and a flexible approach will be required.
