William Tuckett receives his restored E-Type FHC at Silverstone Classic meeting

Well known racer William Tuckett takes delivery of his restored Jaguar E Type FHC at Silverstone Classic meeting. Mr Tuckett has owned this car since 1975 but until now had only driven it a hand full of times. Mr Tuckett began the restoration of this car some 20 years ago and then in 2010 decided that if he did not get some help it would never be completed. We collected the painted body (which had been restored by RS panels some 15 years earlier) and parts in November 2010 and started the restoration in May 2011, since then we have restored all mechanical parts, electrical systems, chrome and a full retrim not to mention adding various upgrades to the suspension and brakes. Having driven some 250 miles home, Mr Tuckett has reported that the car is excellent, due to be returned to us after 1500 miles for first service and spanner check.
