The car comes with all documents and history since 1990 including the Vicarage reports when the engine was stripped to ascertain if the recorded mileage of 6000 was correct or not.

This is an E Type which is crying out to be used and enjoyed.

History
1974 Series 3 V12 Roadster, left hand drive with manual transmission. This is a very unique and original car with only 11,000 recorded miles from new. It was imported into the UK in 1990 by the then chairman of Jaguar Cars Ltd and at that time the recorded mileage was just 6000.

The car was placed with Vicarage Motor Cars in late 1990 for a detailed recommissioning process as the car had not been used for a number of years. Since recommissioning in 1991, the car has only covered a further 5000 careful miles. Due to the low mileage and infrequent use, we are going through the car to make sure everything is up to scratch for any new owner.

Bodywork & Trim
Together with the mechanical checks, we will be improving some cosmetic items such as replacing the hood cover as someone has torn the hood at some stage. The wire wheels are just starting to show light rusting on the spokes and these too will be replaced.
Specification
The car has been retained in the same specification as it left the Jaguar factory back in 1974 including the dreadful rubber overiders which were a mandatory fitment at the time. We intend to remove these awful items and return the car to European specification unless there is someone out there that actually likes the car as is.
Summary
The overall condition of the car is excellent and after we have thoroughly gone through the vehicle it will be described as superb.
