Jaguar E Type Roadster Series 1/1/2 manufactured in 1967 and exported to the United States where it stayed until 1997 when it returned to the UK. Upon returning to England the car went through a comprehensive restoration covering body, mechanics, paint and trim plus converting the car to right hand drive. Since restoration the car has been carefully used and maintained to a high standard. In 2009 this E Type went through an extensive upgrade and improvement programme here at Classic Motor Cars. The upgrades range from power steering, front and rear brake upgrade, uprated engine mountings, Koni classic adjustable shockabsorbers, Competition laced 6” wide chrome wire wheels fitted with Dunlop SP Sport radials, uprated front antiroll bar. Plus interior enhancements such as veneered dash boards, inertia reel seat belts and Mota-Lita wood rim steering wheel.

This E Type is in excellent condition throughout, it is a car that can be driven anywhere with great confidence and will make an ideal grand tourer for extended journeys into France and beyond.

The beautiful read leather interior is in excellent condition and looks as though it has only just been fitted. The seating is very comfortable and benefits from reclining seats as these were standard equipment on the Series 11/2.

Exterior colour is Opalescent Gunmetal which contrasts perfectly with the Red interior.
