Original right hand drive Daimler V8 250 in excellent condition throughout.

This Daimler has had two owners in the last 20 years and both have kept and maintained the car in excellent condition.

The most recent expenditure has been a complete engine rebuild by the fabled Russ Carpenter which has only now covered some 3000 miles.

The last owner has driven the car all over Europe using it for holiday tours which gives you a good idea of the vehicles safety and reliability. Having driven the car ourselves it feels like a vehicle that can be driven anywhere with confidence. There are no rattles or squesks and the car just wafts along, the Daimler V8 250 is not the quickest classic Jaguar on the road but this particular model feels very responsive even though it is driven through the Borg Warner three speed auto.

The body and structure are excellent with the body being the subject of a bare metal respray some 10 years ago which still looks excellent today. Panel fit is very good and all the doors close with that reassuring clunk.

The interior is also in very good condition with the headlining and carpets being replaced some years ago. All the wood work is good and the leather seats are all original only showing a nice patina of age. Exterior chrome work is all good.
