Classic Motor Cars is situated 30 miles to the
North-West of Birmingham, in Bridgnorth England. We are
fortunate in that we located in the 'birth-place' of the
Industrial Revolution, and as a result the area has been
renowned for its engineering and manufacturing expertise for
many years. The heavy industries like coal mining, and iron and
steel production may have moved on, but the surrounding area is
still at the leading edge of engineering excellence.
In relation to our aim of providing an unequalled and
comprehensive level of support for all Classic Jaguar owners,
our location gives us a fabulous 'pool of resources' to draw
upon. For you, the customer this means that the cost and time
taken of any repair, or restoration is more favourable, because
we have all the necessary skill and materials to hand.
In addition to being at the historical centre of automotive
engineering in the UK, we are also amidst an attractive scenic
area of England. Should you arrange to visit us from afar there
are many places of interest near by. Click onto find out where
else you can visit while your classic Jaguar is being attended

Bridgnorth surely is one of the most spectacular inland towns
in England. Sitting high on a sandstone cliffs with lots and
lots of history, it's fair to say the town has had its ups and
downs, and all have left their mark on Bridgnorth's development
over the years.
The town is divided in two - a high town and low town. You can
experience caves, a castle, a funicular cliff railway, and a
steam railway that regulary travels down the Severn Valley
through Bewdley to Kidderminster. You can find out more on
events during the English civil war and catastrophes that all
have a bearing on the town you see today.
Bridgnorth is bordered and divided by Britain's longest river,
The Severn, there are spectacular views of the valley and low
town from the high town. King Charles I, upon visiting the town
in 1642 remarked that the view is "the finest in my domain".
The town has two unique heritage railways: a Cliff Railway that
climbs from the Severn to the high town and the famous Severn
Valley Railway operating vintage trains on a beautiful sixteen
mile stretch of riverside line.
The town has won 5 consecutive gold medals in the Britain in
Bloom competition and a silver award in the European floral
competition. There are many shops, pubs, festivals, and events.
There are two markets - a livestock market (Monday afternoons)
and a street market (Saturday mornings) as well as a permanent
indoor market area and a market under the Town Hall (Fridays).
There are lovely side streets to explore with fine houses and
cottages, the remains of a Friary, eight sets of steps to get up
and down the town, a bridge, old residential caves and much
more.
