Taking our cue from F1 we have developed a removable steering boss for the E-type.

This removable boss gives a number of advantages one being an anti theft devise after all it is very difficult to steal a car that has not got a steering wheel secondly not all owners are as slender as Twiggy and with the E-type cockpit being somewhat cramped especially for taller types, removing the E types large steering wheel makes an enormous difference to climbing in. Getting out of the car is even easier as you just swing your legs out over the sill.

It is alsoa great safety feature for racers, in the unfortunate event of a racing accident the driver can be removed in half the time.

The boss is supplied with the splined upper shaft to take the original steering wheel and horn push or the smaller 15" diameter wheel by Mota Lita.
